    Via de la plata walking alone? Is it safe?

    Hi Stepping pono, I walked Salamanca to Santiago last May. My observations , much more sparsely populated than Frances or Portugese ,so walked alone for 4 out of 21 Days, Never felt in danger. Some big distances between albergues. Never felt unsafe . Beautiful walk . Enjoy . Paddy

    Santiago to Finisterre and Muxia end of May

    On Lires to Muxia , or Muxia to Lires make sure to briing sufficient water as there is nowhere to buy more on the way. There is a fuente on the way but it is easily passed by .
