Hi Chrissan, I'm doing a similar walk starting 30th April. I'm travelling from Vigo to Valenc (just over the border in Portugal from Tui) and then walking to Santiago. This is 120kms so I'm going to have to motor to make it in 5 days! I've also been researching re albergues and have decided to...
Hi Pelerina, many thanks, thats a grand idea! I'm so excited about starting the camino that I seem to have excluded options such as you suggest! I've already booked my accommodation at Roncevalles on the 2nd Sept so I'm committed to starting on that day. Here's an idea....I'll do as you suggest...
Hi Estorildon, thanks for your reply, your comments are very good and I agree. The one downside is that the train at 0640 isn't running on the 2nd Sept, so I'd have to get a later train which means my walk to Roncesvalles would be tricky time wise! Many thanks.

Transport sharing Biarritz airport to SJPP. I am arriving into Biarritz airport on 1st September (2023) ar 2110. I've looked into sharing transport and the total cost is 150 euros. I'd like to share the transport and cost with any other pilgrims who need the ride. Doing it this way avoids an...
Hi Luisa, great blog! Well done...are you continuing with the blog up to arriving in Santiago? Thanks for taking the time to write this, om sure it's inspiring a lot to do the Camino, including myself! Best regards.
Hi Luisa, is this the latest of your blogs (day26)? Like a few on here, I am inspired to do the Camino after reading your blogs, which are so well written, interesting and educational. I dying to read the next stages (days) of your journey! Many thanks, Pete
I am planning to walk from Sarria to Santiago starting on 24th May. Thats my plan but I am flexible in how long it will take me. I'd prefer to have a travel companion as I am not too confident in my ability to navigate the route! It will also be nice to share experiences along the way. Please...
