    Yeah tried that, still the same. Hi David, Henrydog, Thanks for replying, I updated my reply, its catching on the inside of my arm, Im male. I can try your suggestion of the hipbelt and work back from there. Is there a quick way to see if its not long enough?

    I'm using them the way in the video and not gripping really tight. It's the plastic handles. That's why the question about the tape because I can't change to cork. I could just get a new set but why throw away an ok pair if I can do something to solve my problem.

    Finished my 6 day camino. LOVED IT. But got a blister in the crease under my big toe. Never had one like that before. How are they caused? I wore the same shoes for weeks, and same type/make of socks. Only difference was multiple day walking? Any advice on how to stop in the future?

    That's the thing, the "new" skin feels hard. Not soft like when a blister bursts and it skins. It's not sore or tender at all.

    Yeah, was wearing wrong socks and new shoes. But that's all changed. I've had old blisters do that before, old skin fell off. Didn't do anything and it wasn't OK. But just wasn't sure because I'm walking the camino now.

    Walking in warm weather when not used to it.

    I start my camino next week. All my "training" walks have been in cool weather 5'c - 12'c. I've noticed temps are in mid 20s c next week. Any extra tips other than drink water, take your time and wear a hat for dealing with heat when you are not used to it? Thanks
