It is very beautiful but only available to those staying in the albergue. Signs at the premises make it clear they will not be receptive to requests from others passing by

A group of us want to walk to Fisterra starting late afternoon from Santiago for a short first day. Castelo seemed to be the only place with accommodation (at 10km) but looks to be closed. Does anyone have any information about other alternatives ?
At Roncesvalles they don’t provide blankets (also prepare to wait nearly 2 hours to check in as pilgrim numbers have increased beyond processing capacity)
I finished the VDLP by bike a week ago, staying mostly in Albergues. They all provided blankets and disposable bottom sheet/pillowcase. Starting the Frances on foot in a few days and unsure whether to take a sleeping bag this time
There are cheap flights to the UK eg with EasyJet, Ryanair, Vueling and a whole choice of airports for different parts of the country if you fancied a short visit. (Ireland meanwhile is still within the Eu so won’t reduce your 90 days)
