    thanks for the replies...I have used a plastic bag before and I really don't like using the soap like that. The soap bar doesn't last too long as it turns to mush. Maybe I will put it on my Christmas list ;)

    Can you get your podiatrist to create custom ones for you? I have the same issues that you have with your feet and finally got custom orthotics. They worked so much better for me! But then again, every case is unique!

    Sock, to wash or not too wash?

    I have been using Smartwools for over well over 10 years and always wash them. I couldn't imagine not washing them and I have found they don't ruin in the wash. The claim that wool does not stink can be argued as I know (unfortunately) that mine and others have carried a smell.
