    Sevilla and beyond can be cold at that time of the year. I suggest you check over night minimums. You may need a warmer bag.

    Hi David, It seems pretty much similar to 2017 but my view based on walking from SJdP to Burgos my be limited because we stay in private rooms, although many are part of alberges.I am not seeing many pilgrims taking strong covid type precautions. Ralph

    This is a very useful thread. Thanks to everybody who has contributed. My wife and I will be away for longer than 90 days. I am over 70. Can anyone suggest an Australian insurer who provides cover for a longer period?

    I have looked at Gronje and Booking.com. Thank you all for your advice and suggestions. They are much appreciated. I have sent a couple of emails and have received a positive response from Casa Sabina. I’ll see if I get any other today before confirming with Casa Sabina.

    I’ve been looking at accommodation ( a double room) for the first few days of the Frances, specifically Roncesvalles or Burguete on 22 April but without success. Is this because the hotels etc are closed at present? I had no problem in SJPdP.
