    I probably was walking too fast. I'll try to do it slower once I start again. I'm in Sevilla now relaxing. After one day of rest my legs have improved slightly. They've gone from it being agony to walk to just normal painful shin splints.

    Thanks for the advice everyone. I've thought about it and decided to go back to Sevilla tomorrow and rest till next week. I'll also probably get some new shoes there. When I come back I'll try to take it a bit slower. I can take as much time as I want, so there's no reason for me to hurry.
