    Camino Mozárabe so worth it

We walked from Almeria to Santiago in 2019 via the Mozarabe, VDLP and Sanabres. The stretch between Almeria and Granada is particularly memorable and keeps calling us back ;-) Nely and the local association do a fantastic job

How do I get from Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris to the Montparnasse train station ?

Map way has a really good app called Paris Metro which has a route planner option. We used it extensively and it didn't let us down. This is the route it came up with (and which we followed to get to Bayonne to start our camino)

As with past caminos, we will purchase a supply of euros before leaving Oz but in talking to the bank it seems that they mostly hold 200 euro notes. We have travelled holding mainly 100 euro notes in the past and experienced little...

    Albergue kitchens on the Norte

Hi We will be starting the Norte from Bayonne on 22 April 2023. As in the past, we will be staying in albergues wherever possible but are wondering how many still provide kitchen facilities. Going back a number of years we saw that those in Galicia were closing down or restricting their...

    Municipal Albergue at Betanzos

Thanks for the replies. Currently in Betanzos and can confirm that the albergue is limited to 6 places. This situation will apply indefinitely. If you arrive on the weekend they will accommodate any overflow in a nearby school.

    Municipal Albergue at Betanzos

Comments on Gronze suggest that places at the albergue at Betanzos are limited whilst renovations are underway. Does anyone know if that is still the case? Thanks
