I have an Apple Watch 3 and it worked great on the Camino this year. I charged it each night as I do at home and that was all it needed. I would tuck it on the charged under my pillow to keep it safe which is where I would also tuck my phone.

I just did that section two weeks ago. The only quasi-hairy part of the walk was getting into Muxia where you are walking on a fairly busy road for about a kilometer and a portion of that doesn't have much of a shoulder, but there were not a lot of cars on it.
I have had Morton's Neuroma for years and manage it with shoes with a wide toe box (so my toes are not scrunched together) and orthotics with the previously mentioned metatarsal pad and also a toe bar. I also got an injection of Vitamin B, but that was years ago and I can't remember if that did...
