Next year we would like to walk the Norte route. Our daughter Tania will walk the Norte soon and will volunteer as a hospitalera in Granon for two weeks. Her experience could affect our own choice next year.
With reasonably good weather and no physical issues, we had enough time to explore the areas of Oporto and Lisbon, Portugal, before flying home to Victoria, BC.
My wife, Judy (70) and I (77) walked the Camino Frances in Sept./Oct., 2015. We took our time, adding almost two weeks for bad weather and any illnesses/injuries that could slow us down.
I watched some of your Camino on U Tube it was very good and brought back some of what I walked with my son last summer thank you for your post it was very enjoyable
