    Another possibility with cotton gloves is to find a pair of latex/rubber gloves to wear over top the cotton. Not breathable but hey, I'd rather be warm than cold. Of course that doesn't take into account the potential for sweat. One trick I learned with any cold appendage is to rotate/swing it...

    If I lived in Paris I'd be at a bistro everyday having hot chocolate with dipping croissants and a glass or 2 of Bordeaux, watching everyone else. I'd also probably be 25lbs heavier because of it!!

    I bought a cheap pair of cotton gloves for a Euro along the way as I forgot my gloves. Rarely used them but was grateful to have when I did need them ... chilly rainy mornings especially! Buen Camino
