Over the past few days I have been dealing with much anxiety with an upcoming transition in my life, and I am contemplating cancelling my trip to the Camino Portuguese. Does anyone have any suggestions to help make this decision?
Thank you all
Hello everyone. I am a solo female starting my camino in early May. I still have not settled on a route and would love some input. Coastal or Central. My biggest fear is loneliness and I have heard that the central is more populated.
I am also wondering if there is anyone else starting in...
I am a solo walker starting in May as well. The 7th I will be in Porto. I am nervous, but I think the Portugese is getting more and more attention and it should have more. Foot traffic this summer from what I have gathered.
I think I land in Lisbon early morning on the 7th and immediately take the bus to Porto. Depending on how I feel when I get Porto, I might walk to Povoa de Varzim or I might take another bus there.
I have a pretty similar to Barbara06, but I have also decided not to book accommodations. I am counting on my future Camino family to help me decide if I want to cross over to the central route part of the way through. I have gathered that that is a fairly common thing to do on the Portuguese.
I decided to take my birks.
1) They are so comfy after a long day.
2) I am doing a lot of traveling after my Camino and I want something other than my boots to explore in.
I am going to supplement them with a really cheap and really light flip flop for showers. My feet are my everything in...
I am also heading out from Porto to Santiago May 2018. I would love to some advice on whether to go coastal or central. I would prefer as much company as possible.
This is something I am worried about too. I will be starting in early May at Porto. I was thinking of doing the coastal route, but I don't want to be too lonely. Any guidance or suggestions"
