    Morton’s Neuroma shoe choice

    I too have a neuroma in each foot. I bought oversized HOKA Bondi 8 shoes. They very wide and VERY cushioned. I've not walked a Camino (or Camino distance) in them but they are very comfy to walk around in.

    How often do you take a break?

    My wife and I have a timing system. We walk for an hour, stop and have a decent drink . We walk another hour Stop, sit (remove shoes) and have a drink and a snack. We do this ALL day proper rest every 2 hours. We're both in our 60's and we can walk all day.

    I I've not walked the "FrenchWay" and have no plans to do so, I prefer more solitude on my walks and accommodations. I have walked the Norte, SdP and Portuguese. We plan on walking another when bordered allow, perhaps the Mozarabe but it likely will not be the French route.

    I have completed 3 Caminos none of which started in SJPdP :D :D I think is just become the "norm" for people travelling the "French" route to start in France. It makes sense to people. BTW I've done the Norte, VdP and Portuguese route i have no current intention of walking the "French Way"...
