    iv fly into almeria this monday 27th and set off on the tuesday. i went through avila last year whilst hiking from alicante.that was late autumn and the weather was fine.

    i agree with rita, it also depends if you feel the heat/cold. i have found a lightweight 2 season sleeping bag and a silk liner covers all bases. warm--silk liner cold---sleeping bag ice cube weather.--bag and liner.
