    Hi I don't know about the albergues in Portugal. I use a silk sleeping bag liner and I've found it works for me with the blankets provided.

    You may not need a sleeping bag. I use a silk sleeping bag liner and blankets are generally provided in the albergues. Unless you feel the cold, you should be ok with a liner....will lighten your pack also.

    10 days without sleeping bag or liner?

    I have used a silk sleeping bag liner which folds up into it's own pouch about the size of a fist and weight is negligable. It is warm enough during summer and most of Autumn.
