    Advice on health matters

Hi Vincent, I have a husband who could not possibly walk the camino ,he has AF plus an enlarged heart so a bit more serious than you. What Size Water Bottle?

Hi, I walked in Autumn and didn't need my camelpack I sent it back to Australia. Just used a smaller bottle and filled up at villages and yes most water safe to drink just ask the local people. I had too much weight in water!! The main thing is having your bottle accessable. Susanna

Backpacks and poles = check or carry on?

Hi everyone, I strapped my poles to my pack and had it shrink wrapped and checked in. If it was lighter I could have carried it onboard. backpack safety while leaving for dinner/shopping?

Hi THere, I can agree with everything said here. I used a waist band inside my clothes ( the passport got rather soggy with sweat!) and had a bum bag to carry camera, credit card, & cash when I went off to dinner occasionally I would leave my camera still in my pack whilst I was at dinner...

    first timer from California

Hi , A month of wearing hiking pants can be a bit of a pain!!( you certainly don't need a skirt in the churches.) If your skirt is very light light you may want one for a change otherwise give it a miss. Weight is THE most important thing on your Camino Susanna
