Sometimes with gronze.com I'm just not sure about how up to date it is. I thought (and I was right!) That I could get some very recent info here. Thanks everyone so much. And thanks to Ivar for such a wonderful resource!
Does anyone know if the Albergues San Anton just before Castrojeriz and/or San Nicolas @ Itero del Castillo are open for the next week? I'm trying to plan out the next few days and would love to stay at both places but I'm not sure if they are open.
Buen Camino!
Hi All,
I drink a LOT of water when I'm hiking. It's not unusual for me to go through 2 or more litres a day. On the Frances it used to be a bit more difficult to find water but now there are so many cafes and albergues (as well as many fountains) that I can refill as I go along. What is the...

I would like to stay in municipals as much as possible because they tend to have decent...
It'll be my 3rd time on the camino (second time walking the whole way - cross-fingers). I'm way more excited this time than I was the first time. My first time on the camino was because my mum dragged me along on a hiking holiday she said I would *just love*. Turns out that mums sometimes do...
Well my trip only came together less than 2 weeks before my departure date, so I've gone from being disappointed that I wasn't going to make it again this year to full on GO! GO! GO! Went out to replace some of my worn gear last night, got my camino haircut yesterday (decided to go with a...
