Be careful of the mountain weather, you are looking at an 8 hour walk, if the weather is poor, stay on the road, if you decide to walk the mountain, consider resting in Orisson. Take care of yourself and Buen Camino
Orisson (and Borda up the road) need to be booked in advance. It's not usually a "day of" decision that can be made, and it's unlikely that either place has vacancies.

There’s really no need to be nervous. The signage is good and if you call into the pilgrim office at St Jean their schematic describes the first couple of days in detail.
