    I am not tech savy, so please help me how to download the app maps.me, and the map of the area from Santo Domingo de Silos to Burgos. Also, how can I get the right .kmz file and load it into the app? Thank you so much.

    Many thanks to all of you. Besides Santo Domingo de Silos, I intend to spend a night in each of the following places: Covarrubias, Mambrills de Lara, Revilla de Campo, and Modubar de San Cibrian. Any suggestions for private accommodation in these places would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    I am planning to walk from Santo Domingo de Silos to BURGOS. Will I encounter problems with the trail signs? My understanding is that the trail goes from north to south with signposting in this direction, the opposite of my proposed camino.

    Most timely posting, Viranani. In September I did the Via de la Plata from Ourense (to honor my 80th birthday). Last year I did the Camino Ingles from Ferrol. The year before it was the Camino Portuguese, inland. Now I keep dreaming about where to go next September or October. I'd welcome...

    I have just returned from that Camino. The last section on day 5, from Ponte Ulla to Santiago, is more like 28 km, not 16 km mentioned by Donna. Buen Camino.

    I walked it last October and it was lovely - the forests, the hills (very steep in parts), the unforgettable quietness. It did rain for 3 days as I approached Santiago. Not too many pilgrims, though, which made it that much nicer. You will love it. Take it slow and easy, and stop frequently...
