    Caminos are opening in Galicia in two days! Albergues at 30% capacity which is great, no top bunks! Hopefully they'll open the border after Easter, feeling very hopeful now!!

    I have been reading a lot in Spanish that the country will be opened after easter. I hope to start from France but not sure of the border situation with Spain, but is there any border posts? I realise albergues might not be open, but I can see on booking .com that there are many hotels open now...

    It is possible to camp anywhere, just be hidden away and leave no trace. I have camped wild all over Spain, even on beaches near Barcelona!

    Faro to Santiago 910km

    The APP is called WindyMaps and has most of the caminos marked. You can download for offline use too. Used it on other hikes in Europe and pretty good. Aware that late spring might be too late heat wise. It was 18C in Faro today, so already warming up. Will have to see how things play out I guess.
