Dear Camino de Santiago Pilgrim,
We need your help. We are doing research on mobile technology and smartphone apps used by pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago. We want to learn what technology and apps pilgrims use, what they find useful, whether they feel the technology and apps enhance or detract from the Camino experience, and what they would like to have in an “ideal” smartphone app.
We would appreciate 20 minutes of your time to complete a survey. The survey is in English, German, and French. The survey is completely anonymous – your identity cannot be connected in any way to your answers – and it is voluntary, so you can stop at any time. It is very broad with questions for pilgrims who have walked the Camino de Santiago and for those who have not. There are questions for pilgrims who use technology on the Camino and for those who do not.
We plan to publish a summary of the results in a few months for the benefit of all pilgrims. This information will help pilgrims like yourself decide what mobile technology and smartphone apps they want to use, if any, when walking the Camino.
Here is the link to the survey. Just click on it to begin!

Thank you for your time.
