This is probably a bit off topic, but I recently walked a mini Camino in Chiang Mai, Thailand:

I'm considering walking another longer one too.
Has anyone else walked in Thailand?
If so would love to hear your feedback.
Cheers!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Did you take the footpath through the forest to Doi Suthep? If ever I do that it'll be at the end of the dry season when there aren't so many leeches. Or I'll join the students at the beginning of their academic year, walking the road. No supplies need to be carried as food and drink stalls are set up all along.
I have done some hiking in Thailand, shortish walks e.g. on Ko Samet before it was messed up. Ko Chang apparently has good walks, but I have never been.
Some tracks I have walked were "informal"; farmers' tracks in hilly areas in Isaan. There was no map material, and without the guidance of a Thai I probably would not have managed. They were lovely walks, away from noise and pollution. It got so remote that some kids were scared of me; they had obviously never seen a farang.
