Time of past OR future Camino

We are walking from Sarria. I have booked a Casa de Casal, in the town of Lestedo, listed as 10 km from Santiago. My guide book says that the hamlet of Lestedo is near Palas de Rei, around 45 km from Santiago. The reviews of Casa de Casal says that it is a great stopping place before entring Santiago. Are there two places named Lestedo?

Hi, Patsy,
and welcome to the forum,

my GoogleMaps says that Lestedo is merely 12kms on foot from SdC and I can second that because I've walked that already :)

Ultreia!

EDIT: Falcon is right of course, Lestedo is on Camino Sanabres. Only now I've seen you posted this in Frances section...

There must be two (or even three, happens a lot in Galicia) as there is a Lestedo near Palas de Rei (nice area too).

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
How cool is that! And very funny, how I never noticed! I remember at the time being captivated by a group of deaf pilgrims from Ireland who were having a particularly joyful Camino experience.
