Cycling camino Frances in April 2015
Hi there,

We are leaving for the Camino Frances tomorrow and still researching best options for bying bikes (looks cheaper than renting) in St Pied de Port. Could anybody advise any BIKE shops in SJPdP where we can buy relatively cheap bikes for camino? I saw Carrefur store in SJPdP - would they sell bikes?
There is Dechatlon store near Biarritz airport - would it be realistic geting a taxi to the store from Biarritz airport and then get bus/train to SJPdP?
Many thanks

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Would any hikers here buy a pair of boots the day before setting off? I would rather do that than head out on an out-of-the-box bike.

If you are really doing it that way. one can do worse than a decathalon store.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
