Which MMD? They are all in French, easily decoded (a droite a gauche not that hard!), maps only OK but will get you there, symbols easily understood. The classical French dysfunction in English no longer exists, the influx of English, Dutch, and Germans operating B&B's, restaurants, hotels, gites, and camping sites has caused the locals in Southern France to suddenly speak English quite well. The Chemin from Paris-Tours-Poitiers is much more "French" but after Poitiers you will be fine. No worries there. Since your French or lack of it seems to worry, you definitely should have your landlord call ahead to reserve the next nights planned stop-accepted practice.
