You will be offered any amount of advice re this stage, taxis etc etc, but its a very do able walking stage, two streams to wade both ankle deep, but after rain??? First at least has a foot bridge 200mtrs upstream.
Tracks are well marked even through the olive groves, and there is a water tap on the left after the broken path down from the pass.
Hostal Parador on the way out of town (Alcaracejos) 15e very nice
Food????

St James' Way - Self-guided 4-7 day Walking Packages, Reading to Southampton, 110 kms
Alcaracejos - Monterrubio
Two days of first class walking, well marked fast paths, relatively flat through amazing countryside. No major streams to wade except 8kms before Monterrubio, and that only mid calf, and it can be bypassed but we fancied a paddle, it was nice to cool the feet.
As always more detail and brill photos at www.magwood.me

I've just completed the Camino Mozarabe from Almeria. My first Camino was the Camino Frances from SJPDP in October 2021. I don't have a trip report as such. I know people who trip on mushrooms...
