Hello pilgrims,

I wonder if I could poll your views on the matter of layering? My current setup looks like this:

- Merino base layer
- t-shirt
- fleece
- poncho

I wonder whether I need a wind-proof layer as well? I envisage some days in which it is not raining but rather windy, which in a way answers my question but I thought I would ask those who have made the journey at this time of year or indeed are making it as I write. Thank you very much for your thoughts and advice.

Buen camino!

We have walked the Frances twice at this time and found that an ultra lightweight jacket coupled with a tee shirt and in the mornings a fleece was more than adequate and when it rains and boy does it rain he safest thing is the poncho, but others may, no will, disagree.
