Finisterre Webcam

My wife and I completed the Le Puy - Santiago route in 2003 and porto to Cape Finisterre in 2005. Last week my son completed the Camino Frances and went on to Finisterre. While trolling through a weather forecast for the area I found a webcam which views the lighthouse and surrounding area. Just at that point my son phoned to say he had arrived at the lighthouse and we were able to see him wave from the Lighthouse door and at other points. Most fortuitous and an amazing coincidence. You may like to do this also. See:- http://www.crtvg.es/crtvg/camaras-web/cabo-fisterra

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Webcams can be fun. Here's me at the cathedral in Santaigo! =)

The commentary isn't mine--that's from the friend who recorded the photo! He's a funny man.... And I was actually trying to avoid the large group of people to make it easier for him to find me in the image. And I took out and opened my umbrella even though it wasn't raining so there was something "obvious" he could look for to identify me. It's not exactly a hi-resolution image! Undoubtedly, anyone who saw me there that evening swinging around an open umbrella when it wasn't raining probably thought I was crazy....

I also wanted to stage a mock fight for the webcam covering the wine fountain, choreographed at 10-second intervals since that's how often that webcam takes images, but the wine fountain webcam wasn't working the day I passed. *sigh* That could have been awesome!

I tried to see our fellow peregina @Maya Amanecer 2015 at Cabo Finisterre today but unfortunatelly the camera is shut down. Or the link doesn't work anymore. Anyone with more IT/Spanish/Gallego knowledge knows more???

Thanks!

My husband and I would like to spend a night in Muxia after walking to Santiago but don’t have time to walk there. Rome to Rio says there’s busses twice daily, but if you go to the Monbus website...
