Hi fellow pilgrims!

About 4 weeks ago I lost my fathers weddingring (somewhere around Zubiri?) My father past away and the ring was given to me by my mother. I've heard that 2 French guys have found my ring (a German pilgrim named Heinz who I told my story, found out about that). And so far I was not able to trace it. No need to say this ring is my most valuable keepsake... Today (I am in Melide) I was told of this blog. I can only hope that the ring will find me again. The inscription says the names of my parents 'Judith&Dirk' and the date my father past away 23-04-1989. Thank you so much for spreading the word. Susanna

Oh, Susanna, I hope it finds you!!
There is a French pilgrim's association; it might be worth contacting them...you can ask domigee (on this forum, via PM); she has the address.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Best of luck and I hope you are reunited with this precious ring

Wishing you all the best - my father-in-law dropped his late wife's ring at Rabanal and despite searching, we didn't find it. Your story already sounds more positive!
