Is it necessary to book ahead for late August Caminos

Time of past OR future Camino
August (2015)
I'm planning my camino for the third or fourth week of August 2015 from Sarria. It being the busy season, I'm worried about finding accommodations.

Is this something I need to worry about? Should I try to book some places ahead? I understand that albergues can't be booked ahead anyhow...

Thanks in advance!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I have not walked in Aug, but my general pattern is to only book at the start point, and when it is clear when I will be arriving in Santiago, booking there. The only other time I booked ahead was arriving at Finisterre, where I booked at a private albergue the previous day.

I would like to know this too. We are also wondering about pensiones as there will be 4 of us, does anyone know if we are too late to book now for a taster Camino departing Sarria 18th August, the couple of ones I've tried calling with my limited Spanish have been full (I think!!!???!!)?
Many thanks in advance,

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

So, I think what I'll do is to book first night in Sarria and also in Santiago and hope to find rooms along the way. Hope it all works out!
