Camino 101: This all day event is designed to assist those preparing to undertake the Camino in Spain. Information covered includes: how to get there; types of accommodation; first aid; packing; what and what not to bring; physical preparation, the Spanish language and spirituality, in a nonsecular manner. Fredericton meeting– February 20, 2016 from 9 am until noon
There will be a showing of the Lydia Smith documentary film Walking the Camino: Six Ways to Santiago, and to discuss the film and other Camino-related matters. More details will be announced in January.
Calgary Spring Meeting: Saturday, March 19, 2016
7 pm (doors open at 6:30) at Good Shepherd Anglican Church, 408 - 38 Street SW. Frank Spina is our speaker for the evening. Come and hear Frank describe how he has crisscrossed Spain on foot: Lourdes to Santiago, C. Finesterra, C. Portuguese (from Porto), C. del Norte, C. Ingles, C. Catallan, and the Via de la Plata. In 2016, he plans to walk the C. Levante. All are welcome to attend. Tapas and/or wine gratefully accepted
