Vezelay to Le Puy

I'm looking for information about hiking from Vezelay to Le Puy (trails, topo maps, guide books, etc.). I did a search on this site, and the best I found was a thread from 2014, so I'm wondering if anyone has recently tried to take this route? From what I gleaned from that thread, it didn't sound like it's something that's done very often.

Any info is greatly appreciated!

Miam Miam Dodo also do an excellent guide for the Vezelay route, it has the most up to date accommodation too. Its in French but uses symbols and is easy to read.

It's a great walk, but may be a bit more expensive than others. Mostly I camped, but I walked with my donkey

Yes, the "Voie de Vézelay" is really a great walk.
But it does not go to Le Puy...it goes to St-Jean-Pied-de-Port.
The MiamMiamDodo describes both the North and the South routes, but not the variant to Le Puy.
The "Lepère" editor has a guide for this route, but I cannot comment on it.
