Thanks to all the people who replied to my last thread, I've decided to take off from Angers on my road bike and ride along the Atlantic until I get to the beginning of the French way. From there I will probably ship my bike back and rent a mountain bike, or continue on foot ( though I prefer bike) If there is anyone else who is planning to start around Oct. 20 I would absolutely love the company.
