Is there an app...?

I am looking for recommendations for an app or program to keep a journal of my Camino. When I did my second Camino in 2016 I sent photos and messages to my family chat group using WhatsApp. I was surprised and delighted when for Christmas my son gave me a hardback book comprising all the photos and messages I had sent to my family. I’m not an IT adept and I am still not sure how he did this for me! However, had I known this was possible, I would have sent many more photos and messages to create a complete journal of my Camino. So now what I am looking for is an app or similar that would let me incorporate all my photos and reflections into a chronological journal of my Camino next year. Ideally it would let me accumulate photos and text day by day (indeed, hour by hour) on my iPhone in a form allowing subsequent download and publishing. I don’t want a cloud solution because I may not want or be able to access the internet at the appropriate time. I’d be grateful for recommendations and comments, please.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
I used FindPenguins to blog on my Camino. I returned right after my birthday, and my daughter had ordered me a hard cover book based on my postings. It was super easy to use, and creates a map of your walk.

I followed a couple of local gals who walked the Norte on Polorsteps.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
If it’s mostly for you and family, I recommend ‘Postale’ — makes your photos into virtual postcards with a location/time stamped stamp like you’d get on actual airmail. I love it... saves the cards and I’ve later made a bound book from them using the Apple iPhoto software. The stamps are great for remembering other details later.

I found Find Penguins very annoying so stick to my very simple blog on WordPress. I can combine words and pictures plus it automatically puts the link up on Facebook and Twitter. Good Luck.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Really? I found it super easy to use. You can create a "footstep" on the go, then edit and upload pictures later. You can also link to your Facebook account.
But it probably depends on what you are used to. I've never used WordPress, so I just chose something that had the features that I was looking for, like the mapping feature.

I loved FindPenguins. Once I had sorted out a simple name change (you get an automatic difficult name initially) and how to give people access without having to download the app, it was fabulous.

So easy to use on my smartphone as I went along, and I absolutely loved the hard-cover book at the end. I'll be using it again on the Portuguese.

I tried WordPress years ago. We did not click.

Many thanks to all for the advice and suggestions. I have enough time before I go to check them all carefully.

With this device, you can pack everything you might want (including your fears) irrespective of weight.
I've stopped procrastinating and done my first pack. Was a bit nervous about being under 7kg hand luggage, but on the first try I've come to 5.9kg (13 pounds). (Not counting one set walking...
