no, I haven't walked it (yet). when I was crossing italy in 2012, it did not yet exist. of the places I've been that are on via postumia, are aquileia, concordia sagittaria and genoa.

genoa merits a day on its own. the view from the youth hostel high up above it is very cool (a bus goes up there from the centre). you can wander around the fine old medieval centre, but avoid it when the shops are closed (that includes the siesta).

don't miss the cathedral, the diocesan museum (some very cool frescoes), the hospitaler's hospice for pilgrims, the maritime museum and its submarine, some of the town palaces (you can get on the roof of at least one of them),

of course, via postumia passes throught some italian heavy hitters (verona, vicenza, cremona, piacenza). piacenza is also on via francigena so I plan to visit its famous piazza cavalli, duomo, palazzo comune and san antonino church, one of the important pilgrim stops in the past.

in aquileia is a youth hostel, but since it was still closed for the season when I was there, I slept in monastero, a little village about a kilometer to the north (with a camping site), in a B&B in a typical house of the area, raised on sort of legs because of the marshy ground.
