Wandering and wondering on the Camino with Simon 2017-11-1

The pure joy of walking in Spain makes me happy. Opening (y)our eyes to all that is around is so inspiring. I love to share the treasures of this beautiful country, along this intriguing ancient Way. I’d like to challenge you to go further, to discover how you can always do more than you expect. Learn more about life. There are no limits, especially if we can experience, enjoy and laugh about it all together. Are you coming along?

Spain as it is

We will enjoy the landscapes, the climate, the food, the people. Not only other pilgrims, it's great to meet Spaniards living and working along the way. It's great to walk off the path now and then to stand still where others rush by. It's great to take our time for the hidden treasures of this ancient way.

The route

Some time ago, May 2016, I walked the Camino between Santo Domingo de la Calazada and Sahagun, to prepare a wonderful trip for you. We will walk in a small international group of minimum 4 and maximum 8 people. We will have a pleasant mix of enjoying company and personal freedom.
This is not an 'A to Z' organized trip, giving you freedom in how much you spend and in personal choices, but always with the backup of my guidance and knowledge about how to walk a joyful, safe and interesting Way.

Another thought

Our group trip could be an excellent...start of your own Way. Having had a two week experience together, learning how it all works, you might want to make the choice to walk on after Sahagun.

See you

...on the road. The road ahead is empty!

Simon's unique perspective, great historical knowledge , humour and keen understanding of the modern camino will be a tremendous asset to those who walk with him.
Simon will provide a wonderful Camino journey for participants. He is a caring, thoughtful guide, and has researched both the practical aspects of the walk, as well as historical facts. He knows how to give people the space they need but will be there for support when necessary .
