    I walked the Frances in May 2019 and loved every step. I was going to repeat in May 2020 before moving on to other caminos but that obviously got cancelled. I was going to repeat in May 2021 and that also got cancelled. My next attempt will be May 2022. Desperate to return to the Camino...

    I say 816 kms…..790 kms road sign in Roncesvalles + 26 kms from SJPP to get there.

    SJPP is such a wonderful town, I would spend the rest of your day there and stay overnight before heading off up the hill on your Camino. Take your time, soak up the atmosphere… won’t regret it !

    Checked the “toe issues” threads... this one is not addressed (so far)

    Try Hikers Wool from New Zealand.....wrap some round your toes. It’ll sort it out....amazing stuff. Also completely prevents blisters ! Check out their website, they have a short film about how to use it.
