    I typically use a 1-litre 58-pattern water bottle, which mates perfectly with a steel Crusader cup. It’s important to get a genuine Osprey cup, as the cheap copies are not as sturdy and more importantly their caps leak. I do not generally bother with the matching Osprey plastic mug.

    I would certainly not expect fluency, but learning a very few simple words and phrases in another language does not take long. It is the polite thing to do when visiting another country. “Hello” “My name is ...” “Please” “Thank you” “Excuse me” “Do you speak English?”
