I just finished the Primitivo, and walked the whole way in Salomon XA Pro 3D GTX shoes. They were amazing! They are not hiking boots, but I felt completely fine the whole way as there is no terrain requiring technical shoes. In fact, my shoes seemed to be more comfortable compared to the boots...
Great to read about good weather! Will be starting in just over a week with a friend. We are planning on staying in municipal albergues and were wondering if light-weight sleeping bags are necessary, or if sleeping sheets would be good enough for this route as this time of year?
Yes, I think you may be right. The CP really does look beautiful, but perhaps it will have to wait for a return camino trip... Thank you for the advice, I am definitely keen on Fisterra and Muxia to end off!
