The previous post doesn’t realise and should take into account the current trend and the increase in pilgrims of all sorts. It is all about availability of beds / rooms to satisfy the demand.
I just got back from the Camino Frances and it was very very busy... Large groups (10 -20 persons) starting from SJPP and others starting from Burgos, Leon, etc... Finding a place to sleep was a challenge. Bed race was a reality... Multiple bookings, large groups with a Van which arrived well...
I am on the CF , started in SJPP on the 27th of April and walking currently to Burgos. Sharing my perception: I have never experienced such a mass of Grinos. Large groups of “DayBackPacks” take over full parts of dormitories which leads to Full or Complete signs.

Hi it’s not only about prices but you will experience a very different kind of hospitality. Nothing compared with the kindness on the Camino ways in France, Spain or Portugal.

I would recommend you the coastal with the spiritual variante. It was really amazing with a few roads… ok but overall it was maybe 10% overall. Buen camino
I agree with Harington. Be well prepared to get any kind of weather.
In the Swiss Alps (the weather can change within 15 minutes from sunny to rainstorm, from foggy to snow. Temperatures can drop dramatically.
You need to plan with layers.
