Bless you.
It's not unusual to have doubts. I had serious "what was I thinking?!" days& nights in Los Arcos and again mid-Meseta.
I followed much of the advice above.
It helped.
Sleep, good food and foot-pamering does wonders.
I did finish last year and cried when I did. I learned so much...
I'm so glad you are experiencing peace. I think that is the perfect place to be with your journey. I wish you continued peace and am sending you hugs. You are worthy of being welcome everywhere.
How exciting for you! Best wishes on your camino!
So much of clothing is personal preference- wear the type of clothing you are most comfortable in.
As an example- I don't like the feeling of branches and brush hitting my bare legs so I wore leggings the entire time - even in 36C / 97F weather...

Early one morning, two guardas were handing out the below "You don't have to walk alone" cards to pilgrims as we departed Cacabelos in the Leon region.
And...they...
Wow. Tough call. Loved both and wished I'd had more time to spend in each. They both had great restaurants and a lot of action. I think it depends on what you are looking for. Logrono is bigger and has more going on- it seemed to have a festival almost every weekend and the river setting is...
Hi Michele- I finished my first camino from SJPP to Santiago in Sept/Oct of this year. I am 63. I think that it all depends....on the weather and on your level of fitness. It's a tought ascent and quite rocky in parts. If I were to do it again, I would reserve a bed in either Orisson or...
