In Search of Book about the Camino de Santiago

Unfortunately, no. I'm working on him (91 yo) to tease out more specifics. He loaned the book to a priest friend, and we've not been able to learn where he's currently serving so Dad contact him about the book.

Thank you, thank you for both the book title (not it) and the link to the bibliography. I'll start perusing the latter.

In Search of Book about the Camino de Santiago

My father read a book about the Camino written by a Catholic Priest from a small town in Europe. The book was fairly detailed in capturing life of pilgrim. We have perused all pics of books on Amazon in hopes of he'd remember the book on sight, no luck. I realize this is very little to go on...

Restaurant recommendations between Santo Domingo and Belorado?

I believe we ate at the Restaurante Etoile on the Plaza Mayor. It had amazing salads with vegetables that we had been longing for since St. Jean.

    Finisterre or Muxia?

The new parador in Muxia is stunning and was the perfect way to end our walk last Fall. However, we did take a cab to Fisterre for a day and overnight to walk up to the lighthouse and see the “end of the earth.”

    Accommodations on the Norte

I am planning to walk the Norte beginning in mid-August thru September. While the timing lines up with another trip, its also right in the middle of holiday season for Spaniards. Topo Wearers!

I didn't feel the Ultraventure were as roomy as the running shoes. As a result, I ordered both a 1/2 size and wide. The wide fit more like my regular Topo running shoe. Perfect combo for me.

    Topo Wearers!

Another Topo lover and wearer, 1/2 size larger than normal, wore with Injinji & Darn Tough medium socks. Shoes lasted the entire Frances and the bottoms look almost brand new! Also took a pair of Ooofos slides for evening and recovery from long day.

    Morton’s Neuroma shoe choice

I, too, have Morton's neuroma on my left foot. Was very worried about the walk. My orthopedist recommended these metatarsal pads and they were a lifesaver. Only had issue 1 time and it was because I positioned the pad incorrectly.
