    Posada la Victoria is a great BnB on the route, ended up there the first time I did the Norte and I have gone back 4 times since. Family owned and gorgeous. They speak Spanish but work with google translate. 💜💚💙

    Watch out for the Rain on the Brick/Stone road heading off the cliffs into San Sebastian. That road can be insanely slippery in the rain. (The last down hill before reaching the city at sea level.

    It is crazy the differences in weather each year! i was on the Camino end of May this year and the rain was excessive. Was there same time, many years before - no rain at all.

    I did this route in reverse when I stayed in Cudon for a few days at the Posada La Victoria (a small hotel I found my first Northern Camino and I have been to 4 times now.) It is an amazing walk and when I did it in 2017 I met 3 pilgrims along the route.
