Howdy y'all. I walked the Camino back in 2012. Did the 'traditional' route of SJPP to Santiago then Muxia and Finisterre. Had a *wonderful* time and it was a tremendous experience that has been a positive influence in my life and was just about everything one might want from their Camino...

Take heed future travelers of the perils you can get yourself into if you don't listen!
Two main problems:
1) Left at 12 PM for a 6 - 10 hour long trek.
2) Left when he was warned not to. Hell, it was raining when he left!
Good news is he...
I'm coming into the final stretch of my Camino as I go to sarria tomorrow. Hard to believe I've already walked 600 km...anyhow, ive a few questions about getting the compostella.
1. Do they take your credencials away from you and give you the compostella in return or can you keep them all...
Just posting that I did make it to the Camino and am currently in Burgos, so been at it a while now.

Will be staying in albuergues and hostels along the way. I'm wondering if just a liner will be sufficient to keep me warm or if i should bring the full sleeping bag with me? From searching it seems that anytime past May you can bring just a liner and be OK?
What's more confusing is you read...
So from my understanding there's a myriad of options from Bayonne to SJPP. Taxi, which I assume is expensive. Railway, which from what I understand isn't working because it's under construction through July? And Bus, which...I know nothing about.
My current plan is, since I'm coming from...
So in about two months I'll be on my way, and I'm starting to get...antsy. Am I bringing too much? I think I am, but don't know what to take out. It all seems crucial here. Was hoping some of the more experienced pilgrims here could help narrow this down a bit and go "yah, you're never going...
Guess I'll start out by introducing myself: I'm from Texas and currently in veterinary school. Ever since I've heard of the Camino, I've thought it's something I'd really like to do if I'm ever in Europe. Well, turns out I will be in Europe in the summer of 2012, sometime around early June...
