Hi John!
Since you haven't mentioned Oseria I presume you're going the left route.
Well, you have several options on the way to A Laxe. There's a new albergue in Piñor and after that there's Hostal Ateneo, the in Castro Dozon there's Casa Dozón, the at Estación de Lalín there's Hostal A...
The route of the Camino goes through Aciberos. It was diverted across the motorway, past some concrete silos and across to Lubian along another path because of the AVE works. It's been restored to its original route through Aciberos for about 3 years now. That said, there isn't much to chose...
I walked this Camino in June/July last year. The route description and route in my apps and book describe what I saw then and the route I took following the yellow arrows. I replied on another thread on here to say that there are several ways you can walk after Requejo but last summer they had...
Hi!
I've been publishing a free PDF guide to this Camino for over 10 years. It's listed in the resource section!

Buen Camino!
Gerald
Did you contact the albergue in San Pedro? it's the same number as the Casa Rural. As far as I know it's open although it was pretty run-down last time I stayed there.
Also, Pedrosilla is a nice option.

I don't know. When I find out I'll update that page.
There's several other places to stay in Montamarta, https://www.viadelaplataguide.net/guide/montamarta
Or the wonderful albergue in Fontanillas de Castro.
Thanks for this update @Camino Chrissy .
I was in contact with them, they're closed for personal reasons and will reopen when possible.
Bar Rosario has closed but the food in Café Casa Nuñez is very good (in my opinion). I ate there last summer.
The albergue in the old railway station closed...
I just had a look at the Gronze route from Seville. In some place they have the recent changes. In others they don't have them at all. Impossible to know what to make of this. This show the importance of walking the Camino regularly. It's the only way to be sure about the route.
The Historic route was blocked off last time I was there and all the waymarkings were directing us up one of the two roads towards the main road.
It's possible this has changed recently and that they've reopened the historic route. Looking at the Gronze map you can see where the Camino crosses...
I've walked this particular part 5 time and I think I walked a different way each time!
The first time in 2012 it was May and it was raining cats and dogs. I remember arriving at the AVE works and getting some surprised looks from the men working there. That time I took a left over the bridge...
Hi Rosway! Thanks for the plug.
Last time I walked I did Cañaveral to Galisteo (27km), then to Oliva de Plasencia (29km), then to Aldeanueva following the greenway part of the way (about 25km). Longish stages but it was February and it was cold and dry so excellent for walking.
If you want...
