People pick up dog poo in plastic bags why can't they poo in a plastic bag if the are caught short ,line it with loo paper if you don't want to look at it,tie the bag in a knot...

    thanks for that ,looks like we will need to send them to Pamplona or we will send a small bag with sleeping bag etc to Roncesvalles and send pack covers and extra clothes straight to Santiago
