    onlypilgrims.com

Well I have just had a reply - and yes it did go in the spam. Not the best site I've ever used, but it seems to do the job, if you've got a bit of patience.

How busy is the CF, (May 2023)?

Starting out from Leon on the 3rd of May. I've done a few caminos in the past, just wanted to get an idea of how busy it is at the moment. Would you say booking is advisable/essential, I know it can go either way at certain times.

Has anyone used this site recently? I booked a bed yesterday, (Tio Pepe, Mazarife), I've paid but haven't had an email confirmation back yet. I used their services frequently in previous years/caminos, and would have recommended them.

OBSOLETE COVID THREAD Do you still feel like walking?

I'm going this September too, (22nd Orisson). I like your positive attitude. Also, something else unexpected might happen to stop us going next year.

Hi to pilgrims starting in April 2018

Yes, the weather could be anything from blizzards to blue skies, and anywhere in-between. Perhaps better to expect nothing, but prepare for anything. They'll be quite a few people around, (your new camino family), so you'll get plenty of help if you should need it.

Hi to pilgrims starting in April 2018

Hi Joe and Cheryl, I don't think I'll be walking that fast, you'll probably be in Pamplona when I arrive. I'll keep my eyes open for you though. Good luck, not long to go now!!!

Hi to pilgrims starting in April 2018

Unfortunately we don't have REI in the UK. Jewsons maybe?

Hi to pilgrims starting in April 2018

There's a good chance our paths will cross at some point. How are you getting to SJPdP? I'm arriving at Biarritz airport early evening on the 26th - I've still got to organise a taxi or bus to SJ. Or maybe I'll just wing it when I get there.

Hi to pilgrims starting in April 2018

You'll be a couple of weeks ahead of me. I think if it's very windy you just have to put a few bricks in you backpack :)

    Where are the arrows?

Santiago is a lovely old city, with so much to see. It's easy to get distracted, it maybe that you just weren't paying attention... :-)

    Help. Loved but hated it.

I think the Chinese have a saying 'If you can't change something, change your attitude to it'

Craziest thing you've seen someone bring on Camino

That's what you need the hair dryer for, to dry your follicles :-)
