I had issues getting a bed on the CF near Galicia in 2017, but had better luck with the xunta albergues on the last week if people were queuing up to get in and if the albergue has 20 beds I’d count the backpacks . Or head out very early in the morning .Buen Camino.
It's about 3 hours from St Jean , stayed in 2016 very good if you decide to stay I would book to make sure you get a bed. If you decide to walk on to Roncesvalles make sure you get some food for your day walk from St Jean . I myself start on the 11th of April, just enjoy and soak it up like a...
Maybe you should just go for it ,i myself have been known to overthink my Camino . Even to the extent I'm going, I'm not going and basically talking myself from doing the Camino .As we all know the call of the Camino is very strong, as for intermediate Spanish I basically mimed my way across...

Sorry to read your experience in Roncesvalles ,for myself I've stayed twice probably more grateful now I'm sitting in the comfort of home surroundings in Scotland. The numbers of pilgrims passing daily must be daunting for the new and regular volunteers .As a pilgrim who doesn't speak French...
When you're fit and able you'll be back a good place to begin from next time ,a train to Fromista and a couple of hours and your back to where you stopped , long may your road run. Buen Camino.
Maybe have a rethink and have some rest and recuperation with a few stages ahead, bus and rest, for a good few stages and hopefully the feet will be in a better condition for your remaining camino . Good luck whatever you decide. Buen Camino.
2012 ,Sept to Oct Camino Frances, 2016 St Jean Pied de port to Burgos then back for a family bereavement continued July 2017 to Santiago de compostela. Stayed in Orrison in 2016 very good. Found the last week of the Camino very busy from Sarria and had problems getting a place to stay longer...
