We walked the Portuguese Camino September 2013, and I was attacked by bed bugs in a municipal albergue while sleeping in my permethrin soaked silk sleep sack!
Hi Kat,
Try not to worry about what those people are saying to you, and you must listen to the Doctor's advice with your feet.
Catch the bus, or train to Santiago then just get yourself to here http://www.thelittlefoxhouse.com/ and sit and think about what you have accomplished !

We just finished from Porto to SdC 2 weeks ago ( late sept 2013) and the only place we had bug problems was at the municipal albergue in Portela.
I was covered with bites from the bed, and I used a sleep sack that had permithrin treatment.
So there are bugs!

We stayed at the Hebron Monastery on our way to SdC about 3 weeks ago, (late September 2013) there was just one priest left.
I would definitely recommend that you stay there.

The tourist office in Porto had no information available the day we...
Hello,
After our walk in September we need to get to St Brieuc in France. It looks simple enough to get back across Spain but I'm unable to find the best way to get to Bretagne, we would be happy to travel by bus or train.
If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate your input.
Thank you
Hello John,
Thank you for the great info.
We are walking this route in Sept and wanted to stay in Porto for a couple days as you suggested, just wondering if you found a good place to stay there?
Thanks, :)
Anyone planning Camino Sept 2013 from Sunshine Coast/Calound
Hi All,
We have just booked our tickets flying out Sept 1 2013 to Paris via Seoul. We are going to walk the Portuguese route from either Lisbon or Porto, (it will depend on how our training goes over the next few months).

Hello,
We are planning on walking the Portugese route in September 2013 and just wondering if there are any other Sunshine Coasters out there that are thinking about it as well?
Or anyone that has walked that route that would like to catch up and tell us about your Camino.
Hope to hear from...
Hello,
Can someone please tell me where to purchase a guide or map that shows all the Portugese routes?
Is one any better than the others?
Do the guides also show where the albergues are, and have contact details?
We are planning on walking in September 2013, anyone else thinking about that time...
