Do not expect to find any room in the Hotel Eslava or in any other hotel or hostel in Pamplona those days. Everything is busy for the San Fermin Fiesta.
Pamplona is usually a very quiet city, if you have been here before and you come during San Fermin, you would not believe it is the same place.
Only to say hello this time.
Back from Santiago, and again in Pamplona.
It has been a great experience and I have enjoyed it very much. Nothing new to tell about the Camino to anyone following this forum. In fact, for me, the Camino has been what I expected after reading your posts here.
So...
I am starting tomorrow at last! I was going to leave on Monday but I had to visit the dentist first, because I broke one filling while munching popcorn on the weekend. Well, if it had to happen better it was before leaving.
I went to Pamplonas’s albergue today to get a credential, I was going...
Wolverine, I don’t know if I have seen a peregrina with no "mochillo" (I was running soooo fast :D ), but if you said hello I was the one who didn’t answer, could not have heard you with the headphones on, so:
Hola! Buen Camino!

And about...
You can go to Roncesvalles by bus, arriving there at about 19 00, and once there I think it would not be very difficult to get a lift to SJPP, which is only 15-20 minutes away by car
It seems it is not going to snow in Navarra in the next week below 1600m, and Ibañeta is only about 1200m high, and Roncesvalles 1000m, but the weather is not going to be very nice:

A poem by Machado:
Caminante, son tus huellas
el camino, y nada mas
caminante, no hay camino,
se hace camino al andar,
Al andar se hace el camino,
y al volver la vista atras
se ve la senda que nunca
se ha de volver a pisar.
Caminante, no hay camino,
sino estelas en el mar...
As a vegetarian I often shop in those places. I cannot say about the rest of the Camino but in Pamplona there are several health stores were you can find a wide range of products (depending on the shop) going from organic fresh fruit and vegs, to food suplements.
I would guess that it would not...
London is in England but there are also several London in Canada, USA, South Africa and even Finland, Nigeria or Belize.
About the credentials, you know that you can only get the Compostela if you state that you walked the Camino for religious reasons. For instance, I did the camino and I did...
